Celebrate National Credit Union Youth Month with the Lana’i Federal Credit Union This April!

Our young members have limitless potential, and financial education from our credit union can be instrumental in helping them achieve it. This April, celebrate National Credit Union Youth Month with the LFCU through the theme: “The future is yours… Picture it! Save for it! Share it!” 

Together with CUNA, we’re encouraging young members to express themselves through pictures, sharing their visions for their own financial futures so we can help them get there. By staying true to credit union philosophy in an engaging new way, we can set our young members on the path to financial education, understanding and security.

Deposit and Win a Prize!

During the month of April, we encourage all of our youth (ages 5 – 17), to make a deposit (minimum $5.00) to their account at the Lana’i Federal Credit Union. While saving for their goals, they will also receive a special prize! It’ll be an all-around WIN for your keiki!*

Youth Month “Picture It” Contest

Starting on April 8 th , your keiki can enter our Youth Month “Picture It” Contest for a chance to win one (1) of three (3) Visa Gift Cards prizes!

  • Ages 5 – 10, pick up an entry sheet at the Lana’i Federal Credit Union and draw or color a picture of something you are saving for.

  • Ages 11 – 17, pick up an entry sheet and write a short essay on “I am saving for ________ because ____________.”

Drawings and essays must be submitted to the credit union by April 30 th . Winners will be notified during the month of May.
